After I finished "CITYSCAPES", my previous personal art project in lockdown. I had several ideas I wanted to work on as a follow up or as the next step in this creative journey. However, I found that I encountered a ROADBLOCK in every direction I went in during the process.
Sometimes I got too busy and fell out of love with the idea, or things just didn't seem right. Whatever the reason was, I struggled to start something new.
As one does when trying to pursue a lot of ideas over three years, the sketches and drawings pile up until you have a (digital) mess of files scattered everywhere. There a lot of different parts of my life, different feelings and stories through these drawings.
I started with the first part, Missed Connection, a blue monochrome illustration. I've had this sketch for about two years and I could never crack how to make it work. But once I finally came to a conclusion with this drawing, I got hit with an epiphany for what this project would become.
After nine different colours matched together with nine different sketches, emotions, and stories; I present to you "IDEAS STUCK IN ROADBLOCK", the newest chapter to my visual diary and creative journey.
